Springbank Distillery was founded in Campbeltown, Scotland, in 1828 and remains one of the region's most distinctive independent whisky producers. Longrow was introduced as Springbank's heavily peated style, contrasting with the distillery's lighter Springbank and unpeated Hazelburn expressions.
