Low Gap 3 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose exudes some notes of classic — but very young — bourbon. Sweet corn and woody, but also racy with spices and sharp vanilla extract.
Palate: The body is somewhat brash and still showing itself as a young gun, but one with lots of charm. Think caramel corn, vanilla cream soda, and some maple syrup.
Finish: Elegant and long lasting.
Distillery Information
Tamar Distillery Inc./ Mendocino Spirits was founded in 2008. Crispin Cain is the president and co-founder of Greenway Distillers, Inc., Tamar Distillery, Inc./ Mendocino Spirits. Today, Tamar Kaye is Vice President and Director Marketing for the many brands that have been developed. She has been Crispin's apprentice since 1994.
