A blend of four and five year old wheat whiskies distilled in 2010 and 2011. This release was aged in new and used bourbon barrels, used cognac barrels, and used port barrels. The flavor profile is dense and very complex. At 45.5% ABV, it lends itself well to cocktails.

Low Gap 4 Year Old Wheat Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Somewhat dusty and vaporous at first, the addition of water helps calm the sharper notes and reveals ester-forward aromas of banana and milk chocolate chips.
Palate: Beginning with tart tropical fruit, the palate builds with big, successive levels of clove and spice. It’s surprisingly bold.
Finish: On the shorter side, but spicy and lip-tingling. A dry, slightly mouth-puckering finish invites another sip.
Distillery Information
Germain-Robin, based in Ukiah, California, is a maker of brandy. The distillery was founded in 1982 by Ansley J. Coale, a local rancher, and Hubert Germain-Robin, a native of Cognac, France.
