Nose: Raisins, figs, orange marmalade, honey, dark chocolate, polished oak, vanilla, roasted hazelnuts, cinnamon, and subtle leather.

Palate: Rich sherried fruits, toffee, dark chocolate, espresso, honeycomb, roasted almonds, orange peel, clove, nutmeg, oak spice, and a luxurious, oily texture.

Finish: Exceptionally long and elegant, with lingering dried fruits, cocoa, espresso, polished oak, sweet spice, roasted nuts, and rich sherry sweetness.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1824, The Macallan Distillery is one of Scotland's most prestigious and internationally recognized single malt producers. Situated on the banks of the River Spey, the distillery has built its reputation on using exceptionally small copper pot stills and a meticulous approach to oak cask selection, particularly sherry-seasoned casks sourced from Spain.
