Franzese Wine was founded by Michael Franzese and Samvel Hakobyan. Franzese was listed by Fortune magazine in 1986 as number 18 on its list of the “50 most wealthy and powerful Mafia bosses”. Hakobyan had been following Franzese's transformation from a mob boss to a serial entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
