This 2008 vintage Miltonduff was matured for 15 years in a single refill sherry puncheon (cask 900365). It was released by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its historic Connoisseur's Choice series, with 528 bottles filled at a cask strength of 63.4% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour.

Distillery Information

The distillery site 'Milton' was said to have been chosen because of the good quality of the local water source under the ownership of Pluscarden Abbey; indeed, the distillery is the site of the Abbey's former mill. Milton became Miltonduff after the Duff family acquired the area and a distillery was built in 1824.
