Nikka is one of our favorite Japanese companies; not only does it make world quality whisky, but its foundation story is also so intriguing that it is the subject of a television drama. This Nikka bottle was distilled in 2003 and strictly matured in a single cask until 2014. It is a high quality stuff, like everything else from Nikka.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
