Ninefold | 3 Year Old | Single Pot Still | 700ML

A limited single-cask Scottish rum produced from molasses and matured for three years in an ex-Woodford Reserve bourbon cask. Bottled at a powerful cask strength, it balances rich oak influence with Ninefold’s distinctive fruity and lightly funky rum character. Only 207 bottles were produced for this exclusive release.

Nose: Green banana, salted caramel and red apple combine with salted liquorice and a gentle green-chilli spice. Vanilla and toasted oak add richness underneath.

Palate: Round and silky with brown sugar, butter-roasted pineapple and toffee apple. Pear, cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon-seasoned oak develop through the palate.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering toffee, tropical fruit, cinnamon and toasted oak, followed by a subtle peppery and liquorice note.

Distillery Information

Ninefold Distillery is an independent Scottish rum producer based at Dormont Estate near Dalton in Dumfries & Galloway. The distillery produces its rum entirely from scratch using sugar-cane molasses, fermentation and copper hybrid pot-and-column distillation. Its signature Pure Single Rum forms the foundation for expressions such as Celestial Spiced. Ninefold also matures rum on site in a range of casks, with production and bottling carried out at the distillery.
