Nose: Cinnamon and citrus peel lead into toasted oak, vanilla and sweet corn, with subtle dried-fruit notes and a pronounced rye-forward spice.

Finish: Long, warming and distinctly peppery, with lingering rye spice, oak and a gentle fruity sweetness.

Old Grand-Dad is one of America's historic bourbon brands and is named in honour of Basil Hayden, whose distilling legacy helped inspire its distinctive high-rye style. The brand became known for producing a fuller, spicier bourbon than many traditional Kentucky expressions and has remained a respected name through generations of changing ownership. Today, Old Grand-Dad is part of the James B. Beam Distilling Company portfolio and continues to be produced in Kentucky. Its Bonded expression preserves a traditional style of American whiskey production, requiring whiskey from a single distillation season and single distiller, matured for at least four years and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
