Autumn Reflection was distilled, blended, and bottled by MacDonald Greenlees Distillers, and weighs in at 43% ABV. It was joined in the collection by Spring Anticipation, Summer Fulfilment, and Winter Contemplation, with each expression released in a 500ml bottle. A splendid find for Old Parr collectors.

Old Parr Seasons - Autumn Reflection Blended Malt Scotch Whisky | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, honey, ripe pear, orange peel, vanilla, sweet malt, toasted nuts, gentle spice, and soft oak.

Palate: Rich malt, baked apple, dried apricot, caramel, honey, vanilla, citrus marmalade, raisins, gentle baking spice, and polished oak.

Finish: Medium to long, with lingering dried fruit, honey, orange peel, vanilla, sweet malt, gentle spice, and mature oak.

Distillery Information

MacDonald Greenlees Distillers was historically associated with the Old Parr brand, which originated with the Greenlees Brothers in the early twentieth century. Old Parr became known internationally for its distinctive blended Scotch style and its presentation inspired by the legendary Thomas Parr. The Seasons Collection represented a more unusual chapter in the brand's history, with Spring Anticipation, Summer Fulfilment, Autumn Reflection, and Winter Contemplation created as seasonal expressions. These releases have long since been discontinued, making surviving bottles particularly interesting to collectors of older Old Parr packaging and bottlings.
