Old Skye 14 Year Old 2011 is an independent bottling of Talisker single malt selected by Decadent Drinks, showcasing the distillery's robust maritime character and distinctive peppery intensity. Distilled in 2011, the whisky matured for its first seven years in refill hogsheads before spending the second half of its 14-year maturation in a first-fill sherry butt. This combination allows the spirit's characteristic coastal smoke and mineral character to develop alongside richer layers of dried fruit, dark sweetness, and oak spice. Bottled at natural cask strength, it delivers a powerful, old-school Island malt with considerable depth and an uncompromising personality.

Talisker Distillery was founded in 1830 on the shores of Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye. Following a major stillhouse fire in 1960, the distillery was rebuilt with stills designed to preserve the character of its original spirit. Talisker is now part of Diageo's Scotch whisky portfolio and remains one of the most recognizable distilleries in the Islands region. Its whisky is valued for combining rugged coastal intensity with underlying fruit, malt sweetness, and complexity.
