OLL1N Ocelotl Anejo Mezcal is a premium anejo mezcal crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is made from 100% Espadin agave, slow-roasted in traditional earthen pits and distilled in copper stills. The mezcal is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and has a rich, smoky taste. It has aromas of dried fruit, smoke and vanilla, and flavors of citrus, leather and spices.
OLL1N Ocelotl Anejo Mezcal Tasting Notes
Nose: Cooked agave.
Palate: The merest splash of water yields a slightly smoked, woody, vegetal, slightly salty palate with pear, sweet quince and aniseed.
Finish: A salty, smoky finish - raises the question why no one has produced mezcal-flavoured crisps.
