Nose: Vanilla, honey and orchard fruit, followed by ripe red berries, plum and gentle oak spice.

Palate: Soft and full-bodied, with vanilla fudge, baked apple, cherry and spiced plum, complemented by honeyed malt and nutmeg.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering vanilla, red berries and toasted oak.

Distillery Information

Penderyn Distillery was founded in 2004, marking the return of commercial whisky production to Wales after more than a century. Located in the Brecon Beacons, the distillery became known for its distinctive Faraday still, which produces a particularly clean and characterful spirit. Penderyn focuses on single malt Welsh whisky and has developed a broad range of cask maturations, including Bourbon, Sherry, Madeira and other wine-seasoned casks. Its long-aged single-cask releases showcase the evolution of the distillery’s spirit through extended maturation.
