Polanco Añejo is an organic tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Matured in American white oak and rum casks, it develops a rich, layered profile that combines the natural sweetness of cooked agave with deeper notes of caramel, toasted wood and dried fruit. The extended barrel aging adds warmth and complexity while allowing the agave character to remain present beneath the oak influence. Its rounded texture and dessert-like flavours make it well suited to sipping neat or enjoying as a refined after-dinner spirit.
Polanco Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Cooked agave, toasted oak and vanilla lead, followed by caramel, baking spices, dried fruit and hints of toasted almond.
Palate: Rich agave sweetness blends with dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Toasted almonds, cinnamon and dried figs add depth, while oak spice and subtle citrus balance the richer flavours.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dark chocolate, vanilla, toasted oak and dried fruit. Gentle baking spices and sweet agave remain toward the end.
