Port of Leith Distillery is an Edinburgh-based whisky producer and blender rooted in the historic whisky and wine-trading heritage of Leith. Through its Leith Bond range, the company sources mature spirits from distilleries across Scotland and develops distinctive blends in Leith. Perpetuity was created as an ongoing infinity-vat project: mature Scotch whisky is blended, at least half is bottled, and the remaining whisky is replenished with new casks before the process begins again. This means each batch develops its own personality while maintaining a connection to the earlier releases. The concept reflects the company's modern approach to Scotch whisky while drawing inspiration from Leith's long history as a major port and centre of the wine and spirits trade.
