Distillery Information

In 1950, after years of experimentation launching different brands in the local market, the company managed to reach its highest level in terms of product: launching the Ron Barceló brand with its Barceló Blanco and Dorado products, which immediately had a great welcome. About 20 years later, the company incorporated Ron Barceló Añejo into its portfolio. In 1974, Don Julián Barceló left the legacy of the business to his nephew Miguel Barceló. 6 years later, in 1980, Ron Barceló Imperial was born: the Premium Premium Rum of the Dominicans.

A rum that, ever since its launch, has become the leader of its segment, becoming rhw Dominican Republic's most awarded rum by international organizations today.

In the 1990s, Barceló & Co., seeking to expand its brand, gave Spanish entrepreneurs, who had extensive experience in the production of wines and spirits, the right to export Ron Barceló. Ron Barceló SRL was founded.
