Rumbullion! Navy-Strength | 200ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Incredibly intense. Buckets of vanilla combine with flamed orange zest. A spicy, rich nose with candied peels, cola syrup, cloves, cardamom and oak.

Palate: An absolutely huge whack of high-proof spicy vanilla-laden complexity. Cola cubes, molasses and honey, cinnamon and crème caramel. Hints of Valencia oranges with cloves and mixed peels.

Finish: An incredibly long finish, cinnamon, allspice and creamy custard apples.

Distillery Information

Ableforth’s is best known for the multi-award-winning Bathtub Gin and Rumbullion! spiced rum. Since launching in 2011, the range has grown significantly, using time-honoured techniques such as cold compounding as well as cold distillation for their 91.2% abv absinthe, Summer Fruit Cup and Christmas Mulled Cup! Rumbullion is now available in Navy-Strength as well as XO 15 Years Old variants whilst the regular edition is also available in a Magnum (1.5 litre) bottle. The cockle-warming spiced rum picked up the award for the Best Spiced Rum at the World Rum Awards 2015.
