Sagamore High Rye 6 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey | 700ML

A six-year-old Maryland straight bourbon built around Sagamore’s signature rye-forward approach. Made from a mash bill of 60% corn, 25% rye and 15% malted rye, it is aged in new charred American oak and balances traditional bourbon sweetness with a pronounced spicy character. The result is a rich, fruit-forward bourbon with plenty of cinnamon, oak and rye spice.

Nose: Vanilla nougat, brown sugar and burnt marshmallow open alongside peanut brittle, cinnamon and charred oak. Subtle orchard fruit and warm baking spice add depth.

Palate: Rich brown sugar and caramel lead into cinnamon, rye spice and bitter orange peel. Toasted oak, black pepper and hints of hazelnut and dark chocolate give the whiskey additional structure.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering rye spice, brown sugar, cinnamon and black pepper. Orange peel and toasted oak remain underneath a gently sweet bourbon finish.

Sagamore Whiskey is a Maryland-based distillery located on Baltimore’s waterfront, founded in 2013 with a focus rooted in the state’s historic rye-whiskey tradition. While best known for its Maryland-style rye whiskies, the High Rye Bourbon represents the producer’s expansion into bourbon while retaining its characteristic emphasis on rye. The distillery combines traditional American whiskey production with a distinctly Maryland identity and a strong focus on grain-driven flavor.
