Salvación Pechuga Mezcal

Their Pechuga production season is limited to the fall due to the special ingredients needed: honey-pineapples, crab apples, apricots, anise, Castille bananas, apples, cinnamon, almonds, raisins, rice (as a filter) and the breast of a female wild turkey (softer and more flavorful meat than the one of the male turkey) with no skin are used to prepare this amazing mezcal. Salvación’s Pechuga mezcal is their most limited release because it requires incredibly high labor and ingredients, plus a third distillation. This mezcal is balanced with the aroma of citrus, fruits and anise. It is flavorful, smoky with a delicately sweet finish.
