This peated single malt was distilled on the isle of Orkney in 2014 and spent a full decade maturing in a single fresh Bordeaux wine barrique. The barrel was opened by Keeble Cask Company in 2024, independently releasing a total of 187 bottles to join the Fragrant Drops collection.

Distillery Information

The Fragrant Drops range is a brand from the Keeble Cask Company, a cask broker & independent bottler started in January 2020 by George Keeble. Alongside its own range of bottlings, the Leith-based company (in Edinburgh) also assists other whisky-lovers in buying, selling, maturing and bottling casks of whisky, rum and brandy. Keeble began his career as a whisky barman in London in 2011, going on to host tastings, write for Whisky Magazine, judge for the World Whisky Awards and study istillation at the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. This led to spending two years as a whisky distiller in Australia.
