Distillery Information

Domaine de Sempé was founded in 1934 by Abel Sempé, a former French senator who dedicated himself to promoting the quality and heritage of Armagnac from the Gascony region. The house has built its reputation through careful selection of eaux-de-vie from traditional Armagnac-producing areas and a commitment to preserving regional craftsmanship. Sempé is known for its extensive collection of aged Armagnacs, matured in French oak and carefully blended to achieve balance and elegance. Today, the house remains one of the recognized names in Armagnac, representing the tradition, patience, and authenticity of Gascony’s historic spirit-making culture.
