Shortbarrel American Light Whiskey is an eight-year-old single-barrel expression that showcases the distinctive character of mature American grain whiskey at exceptionally high strength. American light whiskey is distilled at a higher proof than traditional bourbon and matured in used or uncharred oak containers, allowing the grain character to develop with a different balance of sweetness and wood influence. Eight years of maturation contribute layers of vanilla, caramel, toasted grain and oak, while the single-barrel selection preserves the individual character of the chosen cask. Bottled at a powerful 145 proof, this release offers an intense, concentrated whiskey experience suited to experienced enthusiasts.

Nose: Vanilla extract, caramel corn and honeyed grain lead, followed by toasted oak, warm cinnamon, white pepper and hints of dried fruit. Subtle cereal sweetness emerges beneath the powerful alcohol intensity.
Palate: Rich caramel and brown sugar mingle with toasted grain, vanilla and warming baking spices. Notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and oak develop alongside black pepper and a concentrated sweetness. The high proof delivers a bold, full-bodied texture.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and peppery spice. Dark chocolate, roasted grain and subtle dried-fruit notes persist as the finish gradually fades.
