SirDavis American Whisky is a distinctive American whisky created by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in collaboration with Dr. Bill Lumsden. Its custom mash bill combines 51% rye with 49% malted barley, creating a balance of spicy rye character and soft, malty richness. The whisky is matured in American oak before being finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, adding layers of dried fruit, toffee and spice.

Nose: Seville orange, sun-dried raisins and Demerara sugar with cinnamon, clove, ginger and rich toffee.

Palate: Rich and buttery, with toffee, cinnamon, clove and classic rye spice followed by soft malt, biscuit and vibrant citrus.

Finish: Long and silky, with honey, sultana and ripe cherry notes lingering alongside gentle spice.

Distillery Information

SirDavis was founded by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and launched in 2024 as a new American whisky brand. The whisky was developed with Moët Hennessy and renowned whisky maker Dr. Bill Lumsden, drawing inspiration from Beyoncé's love of Japanese and Scotch whisky styles. The brand is named after Beyoncé's paternal great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a Prohibition-era moonshine distiller in the American South. SirDavis is finished, blended and bottled in Texas, connecting the whisky directly to Beyoncé's Texan heritage. In August 2026, Beyoncé acquired full ownership of the SirDavis brand from LVMH.
