Nose: Ripe pear, baked apple, honey, vanilla, orange peel, dried apricot, sweet malt, toasted almonds, gentle spice, and polished oak.

Palate: Rich malt, orchard fruits, honey, vanilla cream, caramel, dried fruits, orange marmalade, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted nuts, and mature oak with a full texture.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering honey, dried fruit, vanilla, citrus peel, sweet malt, baking spices, and polished oak.

Claxton's is an independent Scottish whisky bottler founded in 2012 by Gordon and Claire Claxton. The company focuses on carefully selected single casks of Scotch whisky, presenting them under a range of series designed to highlight the individual character of each barrel.
