Star Trek Romulan Ale Vodka is an officially licensed collectible spirit inspired by the legendary electric-blue beverage from the Star Trek universe. Produced in Northern California's Napa area from premium Midwest grain, it is distilled four times in stainless-steel stills to create a clean, smooth vodka before being bottled at 80 proof. Unlike heavily filtered vodkas, it retains additional body and texture, with subtle corn sweetness and expressive wheat-grain character. Its striking electric-blue appearance and specially engineered collectible glass bottle make it as much a display piece as a premium vodka.

Nose: Clean wheat grain and subtle corn sweetness, with a soft cereal character and a light, neutral spirit profile.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, with gentle grain sweetness, soft wheat notes and a fuller mouthfeel than a highly filtered vodka.

Finish: Clean and smooth, with delicate cereal sweetness and a gentle, warming vodka finish.

Distillery Information

Star Trek Spirits was developed by Spirits That Rock, the company behind the earlier Star Trek Wines collection. The project was created in partnership with the Star Trek franchise to bring iconic fictional beverages into the real world as premium collectible spirits. Romulan Ale Vodka was among the first two spirits launched under the Star Trek Spirits name in 2022, alongside Romulan Ale Rye Whiskey. The bottle required years of development because the original on-screen props were not designed to hold beverages, leading the team to work with glass specialists, Star Trek archivists and prop masters to create a functional glass version faithful to the famous design. The vodka itself is produced in small batches, combining premium spirit production with one of science fiction's most recognizable collectible bottle designs.
