The whisky is then aged in ex-bourbon casks for five years, before being bottled at 46% ABV. On the nose, the whisky offers up aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla, oak, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, the whisky is smooth and creamy, with notes of toffee, caramel, oak, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness.
