Nose: Chilli-chocolate, honey'd malt, a good waft of sea breeze and green peppercorn.

Palate: More spicy pepper and herbs up front, with smouldering peat developing. Creamy mouth-feel, with notes of Toffee Crisp bars and sea salt.

Finish: Lingering warmth and a sweet nuttiness right at the end.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, Talisker Distillery is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye and one of Scotland's most iconic maritime whisky producers. Its unique location on the shores of Loch Harport contributes to the whisky's distinctive coastal character, while the distillery's traditional production methods—including worm tub condensers and uniquely shaped stills—create Talisker's signature peppery, smoky profile. As one of the original members of Diageo's Classic Malts collection, Talisker has become synonymous with powerful island whisky that balances peat, spice, and sea influence.
