PA complex blend of over 30 different single malt whiskies delivering a full, rich taste that WM Teacher created over 175 years ago. Teacher's boasts a deliciously smoky flavor, a result of our high peated malt content, proportionately the highest malt vs most competitive blends. Teacher's Highland Cream blended scotch is renowned, venerable scotch that credits itself being one of the first blends available with the highest proportion of single malt scotches. They also claim to be the first cases delivered (legally) to the United States following the repeal of Prohibition.

Teacher's Highland Cream Blended Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose is fruity and well malted with gentle sweetness. Some smoke and a touch of honey.

Palate: The mouth feel is quite big with a supple maltiness and the vaguest whisper of muted peat.

Finish: The finish is well fruited with toffee, malt and a faint hint of smoke.

Distillery Information

A family-owned company until its takeover in 1976, William Teacher & Sons started out as a large chain of ‘dram shops’ in Glasgow before becoming a distiller and blender supplying whiskies worldwide. From humble beginnings providing blends for its shops, the company began to supply bespoke blends for the trade and grow its global footprint. One of these blends provided the basis for the brand that would make it internationally famous: Teacher’s Highland Cream.
