Here we have Batch 11 of The GlenDronach Cask Strength series. This Highland single malt has been matured in oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for big helpings of dried fruit character, and sweet spice. Bottled naturally coloured, non-chill filtered, and at a robust ABV of 59.8%, so a drop of water wouldn't go amiss. A great whisky to cosy up with next to the fireplace this one.
Nose: Satisfying aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.

"So rich, so complex with beginning middle and end complete. For the fireplace on a cool evening. Especially complete with home baked (same day) green olive flat bread !!! Doesn't need all the olive oil of focaccia, just the scotch and water to send a dream or two your way...yum!"
