The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is the sixth and concluding release in The Harmony Collection, created to highlight a coconut character rarely found in The Macallan. The whisky draws its distinctive profile from carefully selected sherry-seasoned American oak casks, whose natural oak lactones contribute coconut aromas and flavours, further refined through bourbon cask maturation. Fresh coconut, citrus and tropical fruit lead into coconut milk, zesty lime, vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice. Vibrant and elegant, it finishes bright, floral and softly sweet.

Nose: Fresh coconut, vanilla and sweet oak with bright citrus, tropical fruits, soft floral notes and gentle spice.

Palate: Creamy coconut milk, zesty lime and tropical fruit with vanilla, soft sweetness and polished sweet oak.

Finish: Bright and refreshing, with lingering fresh coconut, citrus and delicate floral notes alongside gentle oak and spice.

Distillery Information

The Macallan was founded in 1824 on the Macallan Estate in Craigellachie, Speyside, and has built its reputation around exceptional single malt whisky and a deep connection with its natural surroundings. The distillery is particularly renowned for its extensive use of carefully selected oak casks and its focus on sherry-seasoned cask maturation. The Harmony Collection was created as a limited annual series exploring the relationship between whisky, nature, creativity and innovative packaging. Inspired by Fresh Coconut is the sixth and final chapter, developed by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team in collaboration with the creative world of El Celler de Can Roca. Its presentation box incorporates discarded coconut fibres, giving waste material a new purpose and bringing the collection full circle at The Macallan Estate.
