Inviting aromas of ripe orchard fruits, honeyed malt, toasted vanilla, and citrus peel lead into a beautifully layered palate of caramel, dried apricot, baking spices, roasted nuts, and gentle oak. Subtle coastal salinity and delicate herbal notes add complexity, while the long, warming finish lingers with hints of dark chocolate, soft spice, and oak.

Nose: Honeyed malt, ripe pear, citrus zest, vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle coastal brine.
Palate: Caramel, dried stone fruits, baking spices, roasted almonds, gentle oak, and maritime minerality.
Finish: Long and elegant with warming spice, dark chocolate, oak, and a lingering touch of sea salt.
Distillery Information
The distillery was founded as Ledaig distillery in 1798 by John Sinclair, ten years after the founding of Tobermory by the British Fisheries Society. Sinclair had originally arrived in the village as a merchant dealing with soda ash from burning the locally available kelp.
