Twelve Five Rye is named after day that prohibition was lifted by Franklin D. Roosevelt on December 5, 1933. It is distilled in a 80-gallon Bavarian copper pot using a 70% rye, 15% malted barley and 15% corn mash bill and the distillate aged for at least 2 years in charred American oak barrels.

Nose: Toffee, red apple, ripe peach and light joss stick smoke and smoky bacon.
Palate: Buttery hickory smoke, bacon, vanilla fudge and light cracked black pepper with citrus zest.
Finish: Toffee, long black pepper spiced finish with clove and nutmeg.
