Vagabond Spirits White Pearls Reunion Rum | 700ML

A distinctive white rum distilled from molasses on Réunion Island at Bois Rouge, then rested for five months in a terracotta amphora before being slowly reduced from its original high strength to 48% ABV. The amphora maturation softens and rounds the spirit while preserving its fresh, vibrant character. Bright tropical fruit, green banana, menthol and subtle saline notes give it an unusually expressive profile for a white rum.

Nose: Green banana, fresh cane juice, eucalyptus, menthol, lemon zest, white pepper, light brine and delicate floral notes.

Palate: Fresh and rounded with banana candy, ripe berries, citrus, mineral notes and a subtle green-olive salinity, carried by a smooth, lightly oily texture.

Finish: Medium-long and refreshing, with eucalyptus, menthol, tart citrus, fresh cane and a gentle saline-mineral character.

Vagabond Spirits is an independent French rum bottler focused on exploration, unusual blends, and experimental maturation techniques. The Off Road series reflects this philosophy by taking rums from different island traditions and subjecting them to unconventional aging environments. For Off Road 3.2, the company combined Cape Verdean Grogue with Guadeloupe rum before sending the filled French-oak barrels beneath the Atlantic off Brittany, creating a distinctive expression shaped by both tropical cane traditions and maritime maturation.
