Whistlepig 11 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey

Rare and very sought after, WhistlePig 11 Year Old Straight Rye Whisk(e)y is made with excellent quality rye whisky from Canada which is matured and bottled at WhistlePig Farm in Vermont. For this special release, it was bottled at 111 proof (hence the name - TripleOne), making for an intense, classically-spicy rye flavour profile. With a few drops of water, it unleashes notes of orange, apple, vanilla and dark chocolate.

Nose: Spicy rye nose.

Palate: This 11 Year Old Rye Whiskey at 111 proof shows ginger, wood, notes of Calvados, orange, vanilla, apple and dark chocolate.

Finish: The finish lasts with caramel, butterscotch and vanilla.

Distillery Information

WhistlePig began when we purchased our farm in 2007. After a few years of deep consideration and personal reflection, we committed ourselves to craft the world’s finest and most interesting Rye Whiskeys. With help from Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, we discovered and purchased an incredible stock of 10 year old blending Whiskey in Canada that was being profoundly misused.
