WhistlePig Snout-to-Tail is a 10-year-old Straight Bourbon distinguished by its unconventional dual-toasted barrel-head finishing process. The bourbon is finished using two Vermont oak barrel heads: one receiving a medium toast and the other a smoked-maple toast. The barrel is flipped 180 degrees during finishing, allowing the whiskey to draw distinct character from both sides. The result is a rich combination of honey, brown sugar, toasted nuts, baked cornbread, butterscotch and cedar.
