Having only gained approval for the new distillery (which lies a short distance from the old one, but draws its water from the same \"Wolf Burn\") in 2012, the owners managed to produce the first spirit in early 2013. This expression was selected and presented by the Thompson Brothers to mark the 18th anniversary of Dornoch castle whisky bar.
