Pentland is a premium Highland whisky liqueur crafted from aged Wolfburn single malt and natural ingredients. Smooth, rich and gently spiced, it preserves the underlying character of Wolfburn while adding a decadent layer of sweetness. Caramel, toffee and pistachio lead into Christmas cake, toffee apple and Madeira-like fruitiness, with creamy floral notes throughout. Bottled at 26% ABV, it is designed to be enjoyed neat, over ice or in whisky-based cocktails.

Nose: Sweet bourbon notes, caramel, toffee and pistachio, with the underlying malty character of Wolfburn.

Palate: Christmas cake, toffee apple and Madeira-style richness, followed by soft nectarous fruit, floral notes and a decadent creamy sweetness.

Finish: Very sweet and smooth, with autumn fruits, vanilla and a lingering touch of caramel.

Distillery Information

Wolfburn Distillery was established in 1821 and revived in 2013 in Thurso, Caithness, on Scotland's rugged northern coast. The modern distillery produces its whisky entirely on site, using traditional methods alongside carefully controlled modern production. Its water comes from the nearby Wolf Burn, while long fermentation and small-batch production help create a smooth and fruit-forward Highland spirit. Wolfburn is known for presenting its whiskies naturally, with non-chill filtration and no artificial colouring. Pentland extends this single-malt character into a sweeter, approachable whisky liqueur.
